Perth photographer, web designer, artist and musician. For me photography is a way of capturing an emotion or feeling. It is an art form that has the potential to make one stop in awe or pause in reflection.

Kathryne + David

Kathryne + David

Kathryne and David are from Melbourne though had spent a portion of lives in Perth. Their Hyde Park wedding was sweet and simple! Turned out to be a beautiful day. I had a small team with me consisting of Jimmy Teo and Sam Kyte who also shot some fine art cinematography on the day – so keep and eye out for that.

Swing

Swing

T’was the wedding of Hannah and her man Rhys. The day was relaxed yet no holds barred with a full church girls’ choir, swing band, gourmet chefs, amazing décor, and a little dance performance from the couple themselves. The backyard tennis court had been converted into an elaborate setting of dining tables, mixed chairs, quaint cutlery and of course… a dance floor. It was the most amazing setup I’ve ever seen for a wedding. It was seriously like a scene straight out of the movie ‘Father of the Bride’ – minus the white geese.

Lisa + Andras

I had the privilege of photographing Lisa and Andre’s wedding which was held at their home in Mount Lawley. Rae Marie assisted me in photography also that day – could not have done it without her. The reception was held at JoJo’s. Very nice staff they have there by the way.

Once Upon a Time

Once Upon a Time

When life was an adventure, men were chivalrous, and women kind. Love was everything.

The scenery is wonderful down south in Yallingup. It was the wedding celebration of Donna and Ben. Guests had flown in from various countries, most notably the UK. The weather was looking rather unpleasant the day before – wet and windy in fact – though all were hopeful that the day of the wedding would be ok. And it was. It was more than ok; it was beautiful…

Eagle Bay

Eagle Bay

I had the opportunity to share in Sachelle and Ronnie’s destination wedding down in Eagle Bay, Dunsborough. It was beautiful. The weather, the location, the people. It was all beautiful.

Family and friends had visited from abroad, particularly Scotland. Ronnie’s Scottish grandmother was on the dance floor out-lasting the younger ones; it was an impressive sight. Everyone was lively and kind-hearted; it was a great day.

Mount Lawley in Perth is one of those places that seems to always have life and a constant ‘buzz’. I spent a portion of the afternoon with Lisa and Andras, wandering the suburbs and drinking coffee in one of the local Italian cafes. These two have a great sense of humour; I remember not being able to hold the camera still enough due to laughing so much.

Lovebirds, vintage record players, brightly coloured macaroons, rundown bicycles, cigars and a Chinese Tea Ceremony are just a glimpse of Mae and James’ wedding celebrations at the Moore & Moore Cafe – Art Gallery in Fremantle. This wedding was beautiful. For those of you who love your retro – vintage themes, Moore & Moore would certainly have to rank up there as one of the top locations for weddings in Perth.

Wandering the streets of Perth, I had the chance to spend some time with Sachelle and her fiancé Ronnie. Sachelle has spent a large portion of her life living in England and Ronnie is from Scotland, though now they’ve both settled in Perth. They are a great couple and very funny. Sachelle likes to laugh. It was a nice Sunday afternoon with this great couple and I’m truely looking forward to the wedding which is to be held soon in a beautiful location down south.
